Olive trees raised with music, an oil with soul. 100% organic, first-pressed extra virgin green olive oil.

Josep Anton Ortiz, founder and current manager of the Ortbell family, decided to invest in growing olive trees with music. We want to offer a different kind of oil. “The idea is to end up making a product that is supportive, ecological, and has a soul.”

We do this by installing speakers on the farm, programmed with background music. We claim this has a very beneficial effect on the trees, and it shows in the resulting oil.
Sometimes we wonder what music goes well with each type of plant. We’ve adapted the decibels to the landscape and believe it’s an option that complements and blends with nature.

We emphasize the sounds proposed by artists Emili Pujol, Montse Castellà, and other singer-songwriters. We’ve been playing their music on the olive grove for months and see the results clearly visible. “Music and plants, in this case olive trees, are a special pairing.”

All of this takes place in Torrebesses on a property owned by musician Emili Pujol, a virtuoso of the classical guitar and highly acclaimed nationally and internationally. Emili Pujol left the property as a legacy to the Aspros Foundation, which serves people with disabilities.
